This September, HÚE and NAMI Central Oregon are coming together for Shine a Light, a 24-hour candlelight vigil and fundraiser for suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

Together, we’ll keep a light burning for 24 hours, reminding everyone that no one in our community should face their hardest moments alone.
One light can mean so much.
Every light represents a person. A story. A connection. A reminder that someone cares.
Shine a Light brings our community together to create space for conversation, connection and hope while raising awareness around mental health and suicide prevention.
Whether you stay for an hour, take a vigil shift, attend the panel, make a donation or simply stop by with someone you love,
you’re part of the light.

Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Panel
Friday, September 25 | 6 PM
Join us for a community conversation about mental health and suicide prevention before the vigil begins.
Candlelight Vigil Begins
Friday, September 25 | 7 PM
We’ll gather at the Drake Park footbridge and light the first candles together.
